Last April 08, 2017 began the Championship of Spain of 29er, with delay in the beginning of the first sleeve due to the lack of wind intensity. Finally the 4 wizards foreseen with 100 -120º of direction and 5-6 knots, little wind for this type of boats, in which the feminine team of the R.C.M of Santander have been imposed.

Alba Salmón and Claudia Carpintero of the RCM of Santander occupied the first position of the general classification with 1-1-4-6 the second position was for the current champions of 2016, Pep Costa and Fran Nuñez of the CN the Garraf in third position Andrés Barrio And Nestor Vega of the RCN of Gran Canaria.

The local teams managed to qualify in 12º position the team formed by Christian García and Patrick Juan, in the 17th Marc Barber and Laura García both teams of the CNSanta Eulalia, in the 18th position Kaj Kuver and Andrés López and 20º José Mari and Esther Ribas de CN San Antonio.
